Boots Haul | I only went in to buy some crisps!

Alright my lovelies?!? I have a bit of a spontaneous post for you today. I'm not normally one to do hauls or just post randomly for that matter, but as I'm sat at my laptop I thought...why the bleeding heck not!

Let me set the scene, I pop into Boots on my lunch break (it's next door to my office, it's like they want me to spend all my wages in there or something) and all I went in for is a packet of crisps, maybe even a chocolate bar as it is Easter, and what happens? I end up walking out with a bag of goodies! I can't have been in there for more than 3 minutes and I'd spend £20+ on impulse buys and things I probably don't need, but you know felt good! It's the first time I've done this in months so I think I deserved it, and here's what I got.

Ok so the first things are essentials, technically. I always like to have an emergency bottle of dry shampoo and hair spray in my bag for on the odd occasion I go out after work or for those (ever increasingly) awful hair days, and it appears I got suckered in by the 3 for 2 deal on mini's. Into my basket went two batiste dry shampoo's and one Charles Worthington Takeaways Hair Spray...sorted!

With crisps, chocolate and a few extra goodies in hand I thought I was done, and it was all well and good, and ready to hit the till, but then I made the mistake of turning round to see the make up section! "Oooo actually I'm running out of power for my handbag, I'll just quickly pick up a Rimmel Stay Matte powder" I thought to myself, and I did pick one up....along with a mascara, nail vanish and eye brow pencil, and I certainly didn't need them.

To be fair on myself, my mascara is drying out, and I've defiantly been using my Number 17 Falsifeye HD mascara for more then the 3 month recommendation (but who really pays attention to that), so maybe I can justify that purchase to myself. Plus this mascara is bloody amazing and only £6.99! But I really don't think I needed the Rimmel nail varnish in Love Bug or the Maybelline Brow Satin in Dark Brown! Oh well at least my nails will be looking all spring like and Easter-ie and my eye brows should be looking on point for the next few days.

I'll keep you updated with how I'm finding these spontaneous buys and let me know if you've been hauling recently. How often do you just 'pop into Boots' and come out with a bag full? Leave some links below, and thanks for reading.
